CARBON, ENERGY AND FUEL BILL SAVINGS
STATUS AND COVID - 19 UPDATE (30th September 2020)
WE ARE RECEIVING LARGE NUMBERS OF APPLICATIONS DUE TO THE RECENT GREEN HOMES GRANTS ANNOUNCEMENTS - WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO RESPOND TO ENQUIRIES FOR GREEN HOMES GRANT QUOTATIONS. HAPPY ENERGY SOLUTIONS WILL BE CONTACTING HOUSEHOLDS DIRECTLY WHERE WE FEEL WE CAN ASSIST MOST.
The anticipated second wave of COVID-19 is with us, some of our staff are furloughed and our remaining staff are still working from home to avoid public transport but also to continue to save carbon through reducing all forms of travel. The information below explains what our current status is:
We are currently not taking new grant applications by phone, but we are still accepting applications through this website.
New grant applications will continue to be processed, which includes us undertaking all necessary checks to obtain relevant permissions and verify eligibility, we will then progress the application to assess what energy efficiency measures are viable.
If viable measures exist, the grant application will be progressed to have a Whole House Assessment undertaken. There is a considerable backlog of assessments to be progressed as virtually none were possible between 24th March and end of June. Please be patient if you do not hear from us - we will arrange an assessment for you, but these are taking place strictly in order of application
Any assessments or installations that were postponed will receive priority.
Homes which have been assessed, will have their proposals produced and, if accepted, will then be placed into a queue for final compliance check to be undertaken and, if passed, to be booked for installation.
Customers who have an issue with a heating system which we have previously installed, can obtain assistance by going direct to the manufacturers’ website in the first instance, as they provide the product warranty (see below), failing that please email: email@example.com
All routine service work is on hold.
Due to the large back of applications and works, we would ask that all contact continues to be made via email, and only in response to a request from us, which will enable us to respond to people in the order in which grant applications were made and to identify and support any vulnerable customers who may be most in need.
If your enquiry is a genuine emergency, (not enquiring how a grant application is progressing) please use one of the following email addresses:
firstname.lastname@example.org for customers who have not yet had an assessment
email@example.com for customers who have already had an assessment or installation
firstname.lastname@example.org for any other matter
Someone will respond as soon as they are able, but please be patient.
Thank you for your support and understanding.
