Happy Energy Solutions have a strong track record of successfully delivering projects for private and public sector clients including Social Housing Providers, Local Authorities, Energy Companies and Charities. The following examples provide a flavour of the programmes that have been delivered.
Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF)
Happy Energy Solutions have successfully delivered a number of Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF) programmes from development of the funding submission through to implementation including all reporting and monitoring requirements.
Clients have included Metropolitan Thames Valley Housing (MTVH) where a range of carbon saving measures were installed including Insulation, Solar PV, High Heat Retention Storage Heaters and Low Cost Measures (smart thermostats etc.).
£34m of Wave 2 SHDF funding was secured, by us, for our Social Housing clients.
All works were delivered to the PAS2030, PAS2035 and MCS standards using our team of well qualified retrofit Professionals.


LOCAL AUTHORITY DELIVERY (LAD) 1 and 2 PROGRAMMES
Happy Energy Solutions were engaged by the West of England Combined Authority to deliver carbon saving measures to private and social housing in the following areas with LAD 2 Funding:

Dorset
Measures delivered included Solar PV, Insulation, Hight Heat Retention Storage Heaters and Air Source Heat Pumps.
Happy Energy Solutions also delivered LAD1 and LAD2 funded measures through the Greater London Authority for Peabody Housing to improve the energy efficiency of their housing stock. The majority of works took place in the Boroughs of Greenwich and Bexley at Thamesmead. There's a short video about the programme here:

MAYOR OF LONDON'S WARMER HOMES
Mayor of London's Warmer Homes Round 2 Programme tackled fuel poverty across the 33 London Boroughs. Delivered at the height of the COVID 19 pandemic brought a number of challenges plus the usual issues associated with working across the Capital.
Warmer Homes Round 2 focussed on heating and insulation upgrades to private sector homes.


ENERGY COMPANY OBLIGATION (ECO)
Happy Energy Solutions has contracts with a number of large energy companies to contribute to the successful, and compliant, delivery of the Energy Company Obligation Round 4 (ECO4) to secure energy bill savings through in the installation of energy efficiency measures.
All works are delivered to the PAS2030, PAS2035 and MCS standards using our team of well qualified Retrofit Professionals.
The HEAT Project is an in-house scheme funded through Energy Company Obligation (ECO), Better Care Fund (BCF) and other grants available for specific applicants from charitable trusts.
The aim of the HEAT Project is to raise residents out of fuel poverty whilst reducing carbon emissions and increasing the energy efficiency of homes.
This assists local authorities to achieve their carbon reduction obligations whilst helping their residents to have lower heating / hot water costs, a healthier and more efficient home coupled with increased well being and the more general benefits that offers.
The HEAT Project scheme is available in a number of Local Authority Boroughs with participating authorities receiving. a range of free support including carbon saving reports; marketing materials; outreach sessions; carbon saving strategies etc.

HEAT THE HOME COUNTIES
HEAT the Home Counties was a project funded by the Warm Homes Fund (WHF), Fuel Poor Network Extension Scheme (FPNES) and Energy Company Obligation (ECO) funding to install energy efficiency measures to fuel poor households across 5 Local Authority areas comprising Bracknell Forest, Runnymede, Spelthorne, West Berkshire, Windsor and Maidenhead.
Working with the local councils, Rural and Urban areas were targeted with a range of appropriate measures for insulation and heating, the impact of this included:

HEAT MELCOMBE REGIS
HEAT Melcombe Regis was a project funded by the Warm Homes Fund (WHF), Fuel Poor Network Extension Scheme (FPNES) and Energy Company Obligation (ECO) funding to install energy efficiency measures to 500 private fuel poor households in Weymouth, Dorset. The impact of this included:
